Left the day time job to continue full-time blogging

A quick update:

I worked for more than 8 years as a Senior Embedded Programmer (which paid me 60,000 INR per month) but on the 8^th April 2019, I resigned from my day job to pay more attention to my blogging passions.

Now, I have started working as a full-time blogger + blogging consultant.

This post is about a very special person in life, my inspiration, my powerhouse of strength, MY DAD. My dad is my support system; the one person I know will always have my back. He is a simple farmer who has worked unflaggingly all his life. He kept his nose to the grindstone to fulfil all our demands to his best possible capacity.

My job (blogging) demands working into the late hours of the night. So whenever I need to work overnight, I prefer staying in a hotel to avoid disturbances.

Last night I booked a room in, “The Corporate Hotel, Greater Kailash Enclave- 1, New Delhi” and I was charged with Rs 1500.

A couple of days back, I went to the doctor as I was not feeling well. He suggested that I get admitted for a week, but due to the tremendous workload, I asked him for medicines. He prescribed medicines for 5 days, and when I went to the drugstore for the medicines, quite an intriguing incident took place.

Quirky way to have two black coffees at the rate of one cup

There are days when I have back to back meetings and a jam packed schedule which leaves me inordinately tired. It’s on days like these that I employ a simple trick which thoroughly invigorates me. What I do is, order a hard black coffee along with extra hot water and after I have taken a few sips from the cup, I gradually keep adding hot water to my coffee.

A long time ago – when I was in high school, I wanted to be a story writer, and then when I was in college, I wanted to be a novelist.

I laughed a little, when I found myself in a coffee shop working on my laptop – actually I became a tech writer.

Peacocks on the wall of school

Last week I went to the village and saw these peacocks on the wall of our government school. The school is located outside the village near the farms. In the morning some of the peacocks can be easily found on the school campus.
